Plastic swords are very reasonably priced and would look great when worn with their pirate costumes. It might be a good idea to have some 'organized' sword-fight though. If a few children are left alone with plastic weapons without a little supervision then it is only a matter of time before one of them is wounded... Perhaps, to avoid any squabbles, you can have some proper contests for them where they are able to show off their swordsmanship to the fore.

If you have your children's' party in the summer then another idea would be to have some themed games in the back garden. With a bit of imagination, you can soon adapt some ordinary children's activities into something that is more in keeping with pirate costumes. Perhaps you have a sandpit where you can bury some 'treasure'. The kids will love to dig away hoping to be first to find it, especially if they don't even know what it is that they are looking for.

With a little thought and planning (and minimal outlay) you can easily create a whole afternoon of fun that everyone will thoroughly enjoy.

Halloween is coming again and parents are getting energised to find new Halloween costumes for this year's celebration.

Bigger children are more picky about they will wear, like Harry Potter, Cinderella or other favorites.
Thinking about toddler Halloween costumes ideas, you'll want to know about the safety for your child, how comfortable the dress is and how easy it is to put on and take off.

As with any growing market, there's a big range of Toddler Costumes on most internet so it's just a matter of selecting waht your toddler will be most comfortable with. Perhaps a cartoon character, an animal your child likes or something she / he likes to eat (like a strawberry).

You can make your child's Halloween as memorable as ever by Looking for different costume ideas. If your child is fond of chocolate, you may dress him or her like M&M's. Maybe you could dress your child as a pumpkin or cute little bear.

Boys love Bob-the-Builder. This costume includes overalls, checkered shirt and tool belt that enable your child to carry tools.

Another traditional classic is Ghost, a good idea for toddler Halloween costumes. This one can be made at home. Save time when you choose this costume; all you need is a white sweat outfit and face paint. Don't make the costume too frightening because small children can easily be scared if the costume looks horrifying.

A final great option would be a Lady Bug or a Butterfly for your cute little girl. This can be made at home or bought ready made. Choose a colorful design to make your child more excited about the Halloween.

In choosing your outfit however, go for one that is comfortable for your child to wear. Purchase one that enables your child to move more freely. Safety should always come first. The masks gnerally should not interfere with eyesight. Costumes should not contain of any small parts because your child may take swallow it.
